The Towner Eastbourne is hosting a Carnival Masterclass with Notting Hill Carnival legend Ray Mahabir in preparation for Eastbourne Carnival 2025. We at Afri-Co-Lab have saved you a spot!

Join us for the Carnival Masterclass with Ray, where you'll dive into the exciting world of costume design! Ray will share his expertise on creating beautiful costumes, along with some fantastic tips and tricks. This event is open to everyone in the Hastings and Rother areas. We’d love for you to come and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee (and some tasty biscuits!) while learning about the vibrant history of global carnivals. Plus, there will be activities and a cozy reading space for the young-uns.
