BREATHE PLAY LAUGH

An afternoon of imaginative play:a radical act of community care for Black & People of Colour who are artists, creatives, community organisers and facilitators.
Join us for an afternoon of relationship building, guided breath & body work and image making exercises, all curated to offer a space to breathe, dream and open your imagination as a radical act of community care for Black & People of Colour who are artists, creatives, community organisers and facilitators. There are no expectations, no specific outcomes, no specific experience or practices needed- just intentionally held space for you to explore. We’ll do the planning, holding, organising all you need to do is book and we will take care of the rest.
There will be drinks and snacks available throughout the session and a sharing of food from 5pm
Mondays 6:45-7:45pm
Dance class for all abilities, advance booking recommended. Get your joy on with movement director and choreographer Darragh O’Leary. Pop routines to sweat and laugh too.

Inclusive body positive yoga classes at Afri-Co-Lab will be taught by Janice Kate Fisher a queer, non binary, medium fat yoga teacher with nearly 20 years experience of teaching classical hatha yoga to all body types.
These classes are for EVERY BODY but we especially welcome folks in fat bodies, queer, trans and gender non conforming bodies, Black and Brown bodies, older bodies, disabled bodies and anyone who feels more comfortable in body diverse spaces.

It does exactly what it says on the tin! Join us for an eve of creative reflection through the art of collage. Using magazines, fabrics, wallpaper, banana leaf and whatever paper-like materials we can find. Cut and combine images and textures to reflect the world as you feel it.
